Frequently asked questions
How many people can take part in the team building?
We run the programme for teams of six people and up. The content and pace are adapted to the size of the group, so tell us the headcount when you enquire.
Do you come to our office, or do we come to you?
Either works. We come to your space with the glassware and everything else, or we host you at our venue. Coming to you needs nothing more than a table and room for everyone to sit.
How much does whisky team building cost?
The price depends on the size of the team and the whiskies chosen, so we quote per enquiry. Send us the headcount and a rough date and we will come back with an offer, usually the same or the next working day.
What is included and how long does it take?
The guided programme runs about an hour and a half and includes a tasting of four different whiskies, the story of how whisky is made and what separates the regions, plus glassware. An informal get-together follows.
Do colleagues need any whisky knowledge?
No. The programme is educational and starts from zero, so it works the same for a team where nobody drinks whisky and one where somebody already has a favourite bottle.
What about colleagues who do not drink alcohol?
They are welcome without the tasting. The educational part, the regions and the company are the same, and nobody has to finish a sample. Tell us in advance how many are not drinking so we can prepare an alternative.
Is it interactive, or does everyone just sit and drink?
The programme is guided from start to finish. We work through each of the four whiskies together, compare aromas and flavours and score them, and part of the tasting is done blind with the labels hidden. The team argues, guesses, and is usually surprised by the result.
Can you run the programme in English?
Yes. We run it in Croatian or English, which helps for teams with colleagues from abroad.
