About
The Tuesday hedonists
We are, first of all, a group of enthusiasts who enjoy the hedonistic side of life. The association started as an initiative to take our love of whisky — our drink number one — further, and to find like-minded people who would join us and share their own view of this remarkable spirit.
Whisky culture is celebrated around the world, yet here it is somewhat, and perhaps unfairly, overlooked. Our mission is to raise it to a higher level.

What we do
What happens at our events
Since day one we have focused on running a series of enjoyable, educational and relaxed gatherings.
Themed tastings
Ready your palate and your glass — we take you on a cheerful journey through selected whisky regions and irresistible flavours.
Side-by-side comparisons
Scotch or Irish? Highland or Islay? We uncover the differences and the similarities between whiskies of various styles, regions and distilleries.
Blind tastings
The most entertaining way to test your palate and your whisky knowledge. We put two or three carefully chosen whiskies in front of our members with the labels hidden — nobody knows which is which. Through friendly scoring and comparison of aroma, taste and finish we pick the winner of the night, and discover along the way how misleading our loyalty to favourite brands can be. Surprises guaranteed.
Most of our gatherings happen in good company and a relaxed atmosphere, almost always on a Tuesday, which is how we got our name.
